9 Best Rice Cookers with Stainless Steel Inner Pots (November 2026)
The best rice cookers with stainless steel inner pots include the Aroma Housewares Select Stainless Rice Cooker for large family batches, the Instant Pot Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot for a replacement inner pot, and the Cosori Rice Cooker 10 Cup for cooking programs.
On this page (3 sections)
The best rice cooker stainless steel inner pot option is the Aroma Housewares Select Stainless Rice Cooker, which combines an uncoated 304 stainless steel cooking pot with one-touch operation and automatic keep warm.
That combination matters because pot material shapes daily cooking more than outer finish. An uncoated pot avoids a chemical coating where rice sits, while the simple lever keeps setup quick for busy nights.
The large Aroma fits households that cook family batches or meal prep for the week. Its 4 to 14 cup cooked capacity also leaves room for soups, chili and other one pot meals.
The compact Aroma is better for smaller portions and tighter counters. It keeps the same basic one touch approach in a footprint that suits couples, singles and small families.
Cosori is the better fit if you want ceramic coating and more cooking modes. Its inner pot is coated, so it suits a different preference even though some parts are stainless steel.
A stainless steel exterior does not always mean the cooking pot is stainless steel. Some models use stainless steel only for the lid or steamer basket, so check the inner pot material before you choose.
Capacity wording also needs a close read. Cooked cups and uncooked cups describe very different amounts, and the right size depends on how many people you usually feed.
Cleanup and controls also differ between models. A removable dishwasher safe pot suits hands off washing, while hand wash or wipe only care suits buyers who prefer to clean parts by hand.
One touch models suit set and forget cooking, while preset programs suit buyers who cook many grains and textures.
If you are comparing cooking pot materials, our guide to rice cooker ceramic or stainless steel explains the main tradeoffs.

The best rice cooker stainless steel inner pot models
The best uncoated stainless steel rice cooker for most large households is the Aroma ARC-757SG.
Smaller households can choose the compact Aroma ARC-753SGB, while Cosori suits buyers who want a ceramic-coated pot with more programs.
That split reflects the main choice in this roundup. Buyers either want a plain stainless steel cooking surface or a coated surface with more guided settings.
Capacity then narrows the field in a practical way. A large cooker suits batch cooking, while a compact cooker suits daily portions and saves counter space.
Controls matter for the same reason. One touch operation suits buyers who want rice without choosing a program, while presets suit buyers who cook varied grains.
Our score weighs specs, features and buyer feedback against what you are shopping for. We checked pot materials, capacity, controls, cleanup details and the difference between a stainless steel cooking pot and a stainless exterior finish.
We also checked which models are complete rice cookers and which are replacement pots. That distinction prevents a common mismatch for buyers who need a standalone appliance.
The rankings favour clear pot material first, then a capacity that matches normal use. Use the score as a starting point, then check care instructions and included parts.

1. Aroma Housewares Select Stainless Rice Cooker: Best for large family batches
Aroma Housewares Select Stainless Rice Cooker: Best for large family batches
- Uncoated 304 stainless steel cooking pot
- 4 to 14 cups cooked rice
- One-touch operation
- Automatic keep-warm mode
This Aroma model combines a fully uncoated 304 stainless steel cooking pot with a large 14-cup cooked capacity. Its one-touch control and automatic keep-warm mode suit simple batch cooking.
Pros
- Uncoated stainless steel inner pot
- Large cooked capacity
- Dishwasher-safe inner pot and accessories
Cons
- Large footprint for small households
- Simple controls with no digital timer
The Aroma ARC-757SG is the best overall pick for buyers who want an uncoated stainless steel rice cooker inner pot and enough room for large batches.
Its cooking pot is made from food-grade 304 stainless steel and prepares 4 to 14 cups of cooked rice.
That range suits a wide set of needs. It covers family dinners, leftover rice for fried rice, and one pot dishes such as chili or jambalaya.
One-touch operation keeps the controls simple. When cooking finishes, the cooker automatically switches to keep warm, so you don't need to monitor the pot or set a separate timer.
For daily use, that automatic switch removes a common timing problem. Rice can stay ready while side dishes finish, which helps when different parts of a meal are not done at the same time.
The removable inner pot and accessories are dishwasher safe. The cooker also works for soups, chili, jambalaya and oatmeal, which gives the large capacity more uses than rice alone.
The included measuring cup and serving spatula support the basic workflow. Using the right cup helps keep water levels consistent across different rice varieties.
This model is a strong match for family meals and weekly batch cooking. Its size is less practical if you usually cook only 1 or 2 portions.
Buyers with small counters should also consider storage between uses. A large cooker needs clear space, so measure the spot before you commit to this capacity.
2. Instant Pot Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot: Best for a replacement inner pot
Instant Pot Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot: Best for a replacement inner pot
- 304 stainless steel construction
- Tri-ply bottom
- Polished cooking surface
- Fits selected 6-quart Instant Pot models
This is a replacement inner pot rather than a complete rice cooker. Its polished 304 stainless steel surface, rolled edges and tri-ply bottom make it useful for buyers who already own a compatible 6-quart Instant Pot.
Pros
- Polished stainless steel surface
- Tri-ply bottom
- Dishwasher-safe
Cons
- Not a standalone rice cooker
- Does not fit every Instant Pot model
The Instant Pot stainless steel inner pot is the right choice when you already own a compatible 6-quart Instant Pot and need a second cooking vessel.
It is not a complete rice cooker, but its 304 stainless steel construction gives you an uncoated cooking surface.
That makes this product a replacement purchase rather than an appliance purchase. You are buying a spare pot for tasks your existing cooker already handles.
The polished surface is designed for easier cooking and cleaning, while the tri-ply bottom supports even heat distribution.
Even heat matters when rice or grains sit at the bottom for a full cycle. A layered bottom can reduce hot spots compared with a thin single layer base.
Maximum-fill markings help with pressure-cooking safety. Those lines guide how much food and liquid should go into the pot under pressure.
Compatibility is the main buying check. This pot fits selected 6-quart Duo Plus 60, Duo 60, Duo Viva 60, Duo Nova 60 and DUO CRISP AF models.
It does not fit Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus or Pro series models.
A second pot can ease meal prep because one vessel can soak or hold food while the other is in use. It also lets you move between dishes with less washing between steps.
Choose this product for replacement or meal-prep convenience, not as a standalone rice cooker.
3. Cosori Rice Cooker 10 Cup: Best for cooking programs
Cosori Rice Cooker 10 Cup: Best for cooking programs
- Ceramic-coated inner pot
- 18 cooking functions
- Fuzzy logic cooking
- Stainless steel steamer basket
Cosori is the exception in this roundup because its cooking pot is ceramic-coated, not uncoated stainless steel. It still suits buyers who want stainless accessories, fuzzy logic and multiple rice, grain, oatmeal and slow-cook programs.
Pros
- 18 cooking functions
- Fuzzy logic temperature adjustment
- Dishwasher-safe accessories
Cons
- Inner pot has ceramic coating
- Not the right fit for an uncoated pot search
Cosori is included because it helps clarify an important difference in this category.
Its inner pot is ceramic-coated, so it is not an uncoated stainless steel inner pot, but the cooker includes a stainless steel steamer basket and a stainless steel lid.
That distinction is easy to miss when scanning product photos. A stainless basket or lid can make a coated pot look like a stainless pot at a glance.
The 18-in-1 design includes white rice, brown rice, grains, oatmeal, steaming, slow cooking and sautéing.
Fuzzy logic adjusts the cooking process, and the cooker includes a 24-hour keep-warm function and a 24-hour delay timer.
Those features suit buyers who cook on a schedule. A delay timer can help rice start before you return, while keep warm can hold food for serving later.
Texture options add another layer for rice and brown rice. Buyers who care about soft, regular or firm results may value that control more than a basic lever.
Choose Cosori if you prefer a coated pot and want more guided cooking options.
If your priority is an uncoated stainless steel cooking surface, choose one of the Aroma, Elite Gourmet, Buffalo or Moosum models instead.

4. Elite Gourmet ERC006SS 6-Cup Electric Rice Cooker: Best for simple family meals
Elite Gourmet ERC006SS 6-Cup Electric Rice Cooker: Best for simple family meals
- Removable stainless steel inner pot
- 6 cups cooked capacity
- Automatic keep-warm mode
- One-touch cooking
The Elite Gourmet offers a removable stainless steel cooking pot and enough capacity for up to 6 cups of cooked rice. Its one-touch design and keep-warm mode keep the control layout easy to understand.
Pros
- Removable stainless steel pot
- Compact 6-cup size
- Keep-warm function
Cons
- Hand-wash care instructions
- No digital display
The Elite Gourmet ERC006SS is a practical middle-size choice with a removable stainless steel inner pot and a 6-cup cooked capacity.
It accepts up to 3 cups of uncooked rice, making it suitable for several servings without the footprint of a large family cooker.
That middle size suits many everyday routines. It can cover a family side dish, or a smaller main portion with leftovers for lunch.
One-touch operation keeps the setup simple. The cooker automatically switches to keep warm after cooking, and the pot can also handle soups, stews, porridges, grains and cereals.
The wider set of dishes makes the cooker useful beyond rice nights. Porridge or stew use can justify keeping it on the counter for more than weekend cooking.
The tempered-glass lid lets you view the rice while it cooks. A measuring cup and serving spatula are included, and the side handles are designed for carrying.
Seeing the contents can help buyers who are new to rice cooking. It also lets you check liquid levels without lifting the lid and releasing steam.
The care instructions call for hand washing, so choose this model only if that cleanup method works for you.
Hand wash care is a real trade off for busy households. Buyers who want dishwasher safe parts may prefer a model with that option instead.
5. Buffalo Rice Cooker Stainless Steel Inner Pot: Best for multilayer steel construction
Buffalo Rice Cooker Stainless Steel Inner Pot: Best for multilayer steel construction
- Buffalo Clad multilayer stainless steel pot
- 10-cup capacity
- Automatic keep-warm mode
- Measuring cup and spatula included
Buffalo uses a multilayer stainless steel inner pot in a 10-cup rice cooker. It suits buyers who want a larger cooker with automatic cooking and a movable steam vent for cleaning.
Pros
- Multilayer stainless steel construction
- Large 10-cup capacity
- Movable steam vent
Cons
- Hand-wash care instructions
- Keep-warm use should be limited to 4 hours
Buffalo's 10-cup rice cooker uses a multilayer Buffalo Clad stainless steel inner pot.
The construction is designed for even heating, and the cooker supports white rice, brown rice, congee and keep warm.
Multilayer construction is the main reason to choose this model. It aims to spread heat more evenly across the pot than a simple single layer design.
A movable steam vent makes cleaning easier, while the included measuring cup and rice paddle cover the basic serving needs.
Automatic cooking and keep warm reduce the need to watch the pot. That suits buyers who want to start rice and focus on other parts of the meal.
Buffalo advises limiting keep-warm use to 4 hours to help avoid burning.
That limit shapes how you plan serving times. This model works best when rice will be eaten soon after cooking, rather than held until evening.
The pot and outer cooker have different warranty periods in the product information, so check the current terms before buying.
Care instructions call for hand washing, which is another trade off to weigh. Buyers who prefer dishwasher safe cleanup may want to compare that point with other models.
6. Moosum 3-Cup Uncooked Rice Cooker Small: Best for 1 to 3 people
Moosum 3-Cup Uncooked Rice Cooker Small: Best for 1 to 3 people
- Food-grade stainless steel inner pot
- 3 cups uncooked capacity
- One-touch multifunction cooking
- Dishwasher-safe inner pot
This small Moosum prepares up to 3 cups of uncooked rice and is sized for 1 to 3 people. The stainless steel inner pot and one-touch functions also support steaming, sautéing, slow cooking and yogurt.
Pros
- Small household capacity
- Dishwasher-safe inner pot
- 24-hour keep-warm function
Cons
- Uncoated stainless steel may allow normal sticking
- No detailed cooking programs listed
The small Moosum is the best fit for a compact kitchen or a household of 1 to 3 people.
Its food-grade stainless steel inner pot handles up to 3 cups of uncooked rice, which yields about 6 cups cooked.
That capacity suits single servings, couple meals and small family portions. It avoids the extra space and excess rice that can come with a large cooker.
One-touch controls support rice, steaming, slow cooking, sautéing, yogurt and cakes.
The range of functions makes a small cooker more versatile. A single appliance can cover rice, a steamed side and a slow cooked dish across the week.
The inner pot and accessories are dishwasher safe, and the cooker includes a 24-hour keep-warm function.
Dishwasher safe parts simplify cleanup after small meals. Keep warm can also help when one person eats now and another eats later.
Rice starch may cause normal sticking in an uncoated stainless steel pot.
Moosum advises soaking rice for 20 to 30 minutes, lightly oiling the pot, avoiding long warming and cleaning with a soft cloth after soaking.
Choose this model when counter space and small portions matter more than advanced rice settings.
7. Aroma Housewares Select Stainless Rice Cooker: Best for compact one-touch cooking
Aroma Housewares Select Stainless Rice Cooker: Best for compact one-touch cooking
- Uncoated 304 stainless steel pot
- 2 to 6 cups cooked rice
- Automatic cooking
- Dishwasher-safe accessories
This compact Aroma gives smaller households an uncoated 304 stainless steel inner pot and one-touch cooking. It automatically switches to keep warm when the rice is ready.
Pros
- Uncoated 304 stainless steel pot
- Compact footprint
- Dishwasher-safe pot
Cons
- Smaller batch capacity
- Basic one-touch controls
The compact Aroma ARC-753SGB gives you an uncoated 304 stainless steel rice cooker inner pot in a smaller 6-cup cooked format.
It handles 2 to 6 cups cooked, so it fits smaller meals and everyday portions.
That range works well for one or two people, or for a side dish for a small family. It also reduces leftover rice when you cook only what you need.
The one-touch design starts cooking when you push down the lever.
The cooker detects when the rice is ready, then changes to keep warm automatically. That automatic switch means you do not need a separate timer for the end of cooking.
The inner pot, measuring cup and serving spatula are dishwasher safe.
The cooker can also prepare oatmeal, omelets, soups and pasta, so the smaller capacity remains useful beyond rice.
Those extra uses can matter in a small kitchen. One compact appliance can cover breakfast oatmeal, a soup and a pasta side without adding more cookware.
Choose this over the larger Aroma when you want the same basic stainless steel pot approach with less counter space.
For an even smaller comparison, see the best small rice cooker with stainless steel inner pot.
8. Moosum 5-Cup Uncooked Rice Cooker: Best for medium batch cooking
Moosum 5-Cup Uncooked Rice Cooker: Best for medium batch cooking
- Food-grade stainless steel inner pot
- 5 cups uncooked capacity
- Automatic keep warm
- Removable lid and steamer
The larger Moosum prepares up to 5 cups of uncooked rice, or about 10 cups cooked. Its stainless steel inner pot, removable lid and included steamer suit medium-size meals.
Pros
- Medium batch capacity
- Stainless steel inner pot
- Automatic keep-warm mode
Cons
- Uncoated stainless steel may allow normal sticking
- Plastic steamer rather than stainless steel
The larger Moosum prepares up to 5 cups of uncooked rice, or about 10 cups cooked.
That makes it a better match for 2 to 4 people or for buyers who want leftovers without moving up to a large family cooker.
The capacity also suits meal prep for lunches. A batch can cover dinner plus a few packed portions, which can reduce cooking on busy weekdays.
Its food-grade stainless steel inner pot is removable, and the cooker includes a steamer, spoon and measuring cup.
One-touch cooking and automatic keep warm keep the controls straightforward. Buyers do not need to learn a long list of programs for basic rice and steaming.
The product information notes that rice starch may cause normal sticking on uncoated stainless steel.
Soaking the rice, lightly oiling the pot and avoiding long warming can help reduce that problem.
Those steps are worth building into your routine from the start. A short soak and a light oil coat can make serving and cleanup easier.
Choose this model when the small Moosum is too limited but a 14-cup cooker is excessive.
The included steamer is plastic, not stainless steel.
9. AROMA® Select Stainless® Rice Cooker: Best for rice and grain settings
AROMA® Select Stainless® Rice Cooker: Best for rice and grain settings
- 304 stainless steel cooking pot
- 8 cups cooked capacity
- White rice, brown rice, steam and quinoa settings
- Delay timer
This Aroma adds preset rice and grain functions to a stainless steel inner pot. Its 8-cup cooked capacity, delay timer and steam tray fit buyers who want more control than a basic one-touch cooker.
Pros
- 304 stainless steel pot
- Preset grain settings
- Delay timer and steam tray
Cons
- Wipe-with-damp-cloth care instructions
- Lower score for buyers seeking the simplest controls
This Aroma multicooker pairs a 304 stainless steel cooking pot with preset settings for white rice, brown rice, steam and quinoa.
Its 8-cup cooked capacity works for weekly meal prep and family dinners.
That size sits between compact and large models. It can handle a family side, or a main rice portion with enough left for another meal.
The delay timer can start cooking later, and automatic keep warm begins when the food is done.
A display with a countdown makes scheduled cooking easier to plan. You can set a start time that fits your return home or your dinner schedule.
A steam tray lets you prepare vegetables or meat while rice cooks below. That two layer setup can turn one appliance into a fuller meal maker.
This model suits buyers who want more than a lever-style one-touch cooker. Preset settings can help when you switch between rice types that need different cooking approaches.
Choose it when preset grain functions matter more than dishwasher-safe care.
Its instructions call for wiping with a damp cloth, so cleanup differs from the dishwasher-safe Aroma models.
What should you check in a stainless steel rice cooker inner pot?
The most important check is whether stainless steel describes the cooking pot itself, not just the lid, housing or steamer basket. An uncoated pot gives you a different cooking surface from a ceramic-coated pot, even when both cookers have stainless steel parts.
Is the rice cooker inner pot stainless steel or just the exterior?
Look for direct wording such as 304 stainless steel cooking pot, stainless steel inner pot or uncoated inner pot. The Aroma ARC-757SG, Aroma ARC-753SGB and Aroma ARC-914SBDS clearly identify the cooking pot as 304 stainless steel.
Cosori shows why this check matters. It has a stainless steel steamer basket and lid, but its inner pot is ceramic-coated.
How much capacity do you need?
Capacity labels can use cooked or uncooked rice, so compare like with like.
The Elite Gourmet makes 6 cups cooked from 3 cups uncooked, while the Moosum 5-Cup prepares 5 cups uncooked and yields about 10 cups cooked.
That difference can change which model fits your normal meal. A cooker listed by cooked cups may sound larger than one listed by uncooked cups, even when the finished amount is closer.
For 1 to 3 people, the small Moosum or compact Aroma is easier to match to everyday portions.
For large family meals, the 14-cup Aroma gives more room for batch cooking.
Extra room helps when you cook for guests or prep rice for several meals. It can also help when rice is the main part of the meal rather than a side dish.
Smaller capacity helps when you cook daily for one or two people. It reduces waste and takes less counter and storage space.
Check how often you cook rice as well as how many people eat it. Daily small batches suit a compact model, while weekend batch cooking may suit a larger one.
Also check the included measuring cup. Some cookers use a smaller cup than a standard kitchen cup, so the listed amount depends on using that cup.
Will rice stick to an uncoated stainless steel pot?
It can. Rice starch may stick to uncoated stainless steel, especially when rice stays warm for a long time.
Moosum recommends soaking rice for 20 to 30 minutes, adding a few drops of oil or lightly oiling the pot, avoiding long warming and cleaning with a soft cloth after soaking in warm water. These steps help reduce sticking, but they don't turn stainless steel into a nonstick surface.
Do you need simple controls or preset programs?
Choose one-touch controls if you mainly cook rice and want automatic keep warm. The Aroma ARC-757SG, compact Aroma, Elite Gourmet and Moosum models follow that simpler approach.
Choose the Aroma ARC-914SBDS or Cosori if you want more settings. Aroma includes white rice, brown rice, steam and quinoa programs, while Cosori adds 18 functions and fuzzy logic cooking.
Can an Instant Pot inner pot replace a rice cooker?
No. The Instant Pot stainless steel inner pot is a replacement accessory for selected 6-quart Instant Pot models.
It can support rice and other cooking tasks inside a compatible pressure cooker, but it does not contain heating controls on its own.
If you are comparing pressure-cooking accessories and complete appliances, start with this electric pressure cooker buying guide.
Which stainless steel rice cooker should you choose?
Choose the Aroma Housewares Select Stainless Rice Cooker if you want the strongest combination of uncoated 304 stainless steel, large capacity and simple automatic cooking.
That pick suits family meals, batch cooking and one pot dishes that need more room. It also suits buyers who want a plain stainless steel surface without a coating.
Choose the compact Aroma or small Moosum when your normal batch is smaller. Those models save counter space and still offer one touch cooking with automatic keep warm.
Pick the Elite Gourmet for a straightforward 6-cup cooker, Buffalo for multilayer steel construction, or the Aroma ARC-914SBDS for preset rice and grain functions. Each of those picks answers a different need.
Choose Cosori only if a ceramic-coated inner pot fits your needs better than an uncoated stainless steel surface. Cosori brings more programs, fuzzy logic and texture options, but that added control comes with a coated pot.
Before you buy, check care instructions along with capacity and controls. Dishwasher safe parts, hand wash care and wipe only care can decide which model fits your routine.
Also confirm what is included in the box. A measuring cup, spatula or steamer can affect daily use more than a small spec difference.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best rice cooker with a stainless steel inner pot?
The Aroma Housewares Select Stainless Rice Cooker is the strongest overall choice here because it has an uncoated 304 stainless steel cooking pot, one-touch operation, automatic keep warm and a 4 to 14-cup cooked capacity. Choose the smaller Aroma ARC-753SGB when you usually cook 2 to 6 cups.
Are stainless steel rice cooker inner pots uncoated?
Not always. The Aroma ARC-757SG, Aroma ARC-753SGB, Elite Gourmet, both Moosum models and Aroma ARC-914SBDS use stainless steel cooking pots.
Cosori uses a ceramic-coated inner pot, while its steamer basket is stainless steel, so check the pot material rather than the outer finish.
Does stainless steel rice stick more than coated rice cookers?
Uncoated stainless steel can allow normal rice sticking because of starch. Moosum advises soaking rice for 20 to 30 minutes, lightly oiling the pot or adding a few drops of oil, avoiding long warming and cleaning with a soft cloth after soaking.
What size stainless steel rice cooker should I buy?
Choose capacity by the amount of cooked rice you usually need. The compact Aroma makes 2 to 6 cups cooked, the Elite Gourmet makes up to 6 cups, and the large Aroma ARC-757SG makes 4 to 14 cups cooked.
Extra capacity is useful for meal prep but takes more counter space.
Is the Instant Pot stainless steel inner pot a rice cooker?
No. The Instant Pot Stainless Steel Inner Cooking Pot is a replacement 6-quart inner pot for selected Instant Pot models.
It has a polished 304 stainless steel surface and tri-ply bottom, but it isn't a standalone rice cooker.
Confirm compatibility before ordering.
